Responsibilities*
DUTIES: The Department of Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan seeks a lecturer in dance with expertise in ballet and musical theatre dance styles. The appointee will teach two dance classes for undergraduate students from first through senior year in the Department of Musical Theatre, covering core musical theatre dance styles including ballet, jazz and other musical theatre styles while introducing diverse, contemporary, and culturally relevant forms shaping the professional field.
Required Qualifications*
Candidates should have experience in higher education and/or equivalent professional practice and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence for a broad range of students of varied identities and backgrounds who seek to explore a range of educational opportunities and career pathways. Broadway experience required.

Effort % - 50%

Modes of Work
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
