Job Summary
Project Management and Deliverables Coordination
Execute day-to-day coordination of program deliverables for BMC2 and related cardiovascular registry initiatives, including the new BMC2 Heart Failure Quality Improvement Program.
Track milestones, deadlines, dependencies, barriers, and follow-up items to support timely completion of program materials and project deliverables.
Support planning and execution of special projects, including trainee opportunities, registry-related initiatives, and other program priorities.
Identify and recommend improvements to workflows, templates, documentation, and recurring deliverable processes.
Program Materials, Content, and Digital Resources
Execute the preparation, drafting, editing, coordination, and distribution of program materials, including reports, presentations, newsletters, web content, stakeholder updates, annual reports, webinars, and digital resources.
Ensure deliverables are aligned with organizational voice, style, branding, formatting, and quality standards.
Maintain and update BMC2 and related registry websites to ensure content is current, organized, accessible, and useful to internal and external audiences.
Coordinate multimedia deliverables, including editing video content and uploading presentations or related materials to organizational platforms such as YouTube or similar channels.
Registry, Research, and Quality Improvement Dissemination
Coordinate dissemination activities and deliverables related to BMC2 data outcomes, quality improvement initiatives, research publications, presentations, collaborative achievements, and program milestones.
Translate clinical, registry, research, quality improvement, and program information into clear materials for professional, stakeholder, and public-facing audiences.
Work with faculty, analysts, program staff, and leadership to gather, organize, review, and prepare content for reports, presentations, web updates, newsletters, and other dissemination products.
Maintain awareness of publications, presentations, registry developments, and program accomplishments to support timely communication and dissemination.
Events, Webinars, and Stakeholder-Facing Activities
Coordinate deliverables and logistics for in-person and virtual events, webinars, collaborative meetings, conferences, stakeholder presentations, and educational sessions.
Prepare agendas, registration materials, presentation decks, handouts, promotional materials, post-event summaries, and follow-up communications.
Track event-related timelines, deliverables, attendance, engagement metrics, and follow-up action items.
Support BMC2's presence at professional events and conferences by coordinating materials, displays, presentations, and related program resources.
Metrics, Reporting, and Process Improvement
Track engagement across web, email, social media, webinar, video, event, and other digital platforms.
Compile and summarize engagement metrics to inform content planning, outreach strategies, dissemination activities, and process improvements.
Develop and maintain tools, templates, workflows, and documentation that support consistent project execution, reporting, and quality control.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Stakeholder Support
Coordinate information sharing and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders to support timely completion of program deliverables.
Maintain contact lists and distribution lists for participating sites, faculty, staff, trainees, professional organizations, community partners, and other relevant groups.
Serve as a project coordination point for deliverable-related questions, timelines, materials, and documentation.
Partner with the Community Engagement Manager and program leaders to ensure deliverables support broader engagement, dissemination, registry, and program goals.
Responsibilities*
BMC2 is a collaborative consortium dedicated to improving the quality of care and outcomes in patients who undergo cardiovascular procedures across the State of Michigan. Support for BMC2 is provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network as part of the BCBSM Value Partnerships Program.
The BMC2 Community Engagement Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, and execution of key program deliverables for BMC2 and related cardiovascular registry initiatives, including the new Heart Failure Quality Improvement Program. Reporting to the BMC2 Community Engagement Director, this role will manage timelines, work plans, documentation, tracking tools, shared resources, and cross-functional workflows to ensure program priorities are completed accurately and on schedule.
The position will collaborate with leadership, clinical faculty, analysts, program staff, participating sites, trainees, and external partners to support registry initiatives, meetings, webinars, conferences, stakeholder activities, engagement tracking, and process improvements. This role will also assist with translating clinical, research, quality improvement, and registry information into clear deliverables - including reports, presentations, newsletters, web content, event materials, and program updates - for varied audiences.
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant experience in quality improvement, community engagement, or a related field.
- Experience building trust and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including patients
- Experience developing or supporting digital and print communications, such as newsletters, email campaigns, websites, social media content, annual reports, webinars, or other engagement materials.
- Experience tracking digital engagement metrics and using data to inform content, outreach, or process-improvement decisions.
- Experience coordinating conferences, webinars, stakeholder meetings, or other professional events.
- Ability to translate technical, clinical, or research-focused information into accessible content for varied audiences.
- Experience maintaining consistent organizational voice, style, and standards across digital and print materials.
- Experience editing video or uploading content to YouTube or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs, Google Slides, or similar applications.
- Proficiency with the Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar applications
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
