Job Summary

Primary duties entail assisting with logistical, organizational, and other administrative tasks associated with successfully implementing the University of Michigan's Ottawa Internship Program. 

Responsibilities*

The job duties may include, but are not limited to, assisting with the following:

  • Managing/updating program records
  • Outreach to program partners
  • Communications with program participants
  • Web site maintenance
  • Other tasks related to successful implementation of the program

Required Qualifications*

The research assistant must have the following qualifications:

  • Student at the University of Michigan
  • Sophomore standing or higher
  • Ability to work independently
  • Evidence of strong academic performance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications*

The ideal candidate will also possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Sites
  • Familiarity with the city of Detroit

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Work Schedule

Approximately 10 hours per week.

Background Screening
